When a new baby arrives, so much attention is understandably focused on the newborn. But what about the rest of the family? The postpartum period is a significant transition for everyone—whether you're a first-time parent, navigating the dynamics of siblings adjusting to a new baby, or simply finding your footing as a family.

As a postpartum doula, my goal is to support the entire family unit. That means helping parents find confidence in their new roles, offering emotional support through the highs and lows, and creating a space where all feelings are valid. I also help integrate older siblings into this new chapter with kindness and intention, helping them feel seen and valued.

I often hear from parents that having a steady, caring presence makes them feel more grounded during a time that can be full of uncertainty. My role isn’t just to care for the baby—it’s to help nurture the family as a whole, creating an environment where everyone can adjust and thrive.
